it's 2012.. and i've just POP-ed.

army life has been a very unique experience,
blood, sweat and tears, happiness and sorrow, all in one.

things will be different from here on.
i'll be sticking to my resolutions,
reflecting on life,
and looking forward to the future.

when can i breathe again.

sometimes i feel like i could just fall onto the ground,
and not have anything to stand up for.
what is there, for me to hold on to?

i went through so much.. that i've never been subject to before.
all that was said and done, made no difference.
i'm.. so tired.

it's tough being alone.
feeling like no one really bothers to understand.
and even if they do,
i guess it's just difficult to understand.

everyday my expectations for life fall more and more.
one day when it hits rock bottom,
i guess that's maybe when i'll find myself back again.

they say that life gives you bricks.
all my life i've been very selective of the people in my social circle,
building walls around myself with those bricks, instead of bridges.
i guess now i shall just not do anything with them,
without any expectations..
until i find the right decision to make on what i should do with them.

i believe that with time, all of these will come to pass.
but i hope i don't take too long.

nowadays i wake up in the day feeling like i really just have nothing to look forward to.
and i go to bed feeling really empty.
maybe i should take it as though nothing ever happened..
how i wish someone could give me some answers,
to all the questions in my head.

connecting the dots.

made an impulsive decision to (finally) change my hairstyle
for the previous GEMS concert..

then had it bleached again.
thinking back.. my hair really had gone through almost all colours of life with me :P
red.. white.. ash.. blonde.. brown.. orange.. and of course black.
which is the state it's in now.. black.

i graduated from TP with a cGPA of only 2.64..
but i'm happy with my SIP's grade :)
will definitely work harder when i further my studies in the future.

been playing many iphone games for the past coming months,
and tiny tower being one of them,
aside from the funny bitbook status updates..
comes 'troll' moments like this.
wth was i supposed to do with judith obrien? lol!

BOTY Singapore 2011 was up at White Sands this year.
attended as a spectator and, had my own share of fun and experience..
and got to meet dyzee and wing up close :)
amazing people.

my baby brother jovan is now 9months old..
and look how much he's grown!
into such a cute baby boy,
who livens up the home everytime he's in a good mood :)
puts a smile on my face each time.

i've been occupied with this iphone app recently.. paladog!
it's fun and kills time but if you didn't jailbreak your phone,
you need to pay for it~

and i'm also currently playing on dragon nest sea's westwood server :)
i really like the pvp there and how some things work,
being quite new to me makes it interesting.

which i took while playing the app 'high noon',
found it amusing that this particular person named his character
after the currently 'previous' president of my country..

talking about being the president,
the elections were just over awhile ago..
and dr tony tan had the most votes,
and so taking on the role of Singapore's current head of state.

this man is dr tan cheng bock,
one of the candidates for presidential elections.
and he was randomly spotted at tampines area roaming around..
haha! there's a picture of him and my stepmum & jovan.

many things have changed in this span of time..
i even went to Korea for a 2 week trip,
which i logged down in vlogs on my facebook page.

things will continue to change in the coming months..
and yea, i've moved to a tampines condo temporarily,
until the condo my dad bought is built up and ready.
thankfully i kinda like the feel of the room i got,
so no complains from me :)

i'm sorry for the days i've been shouting at home,
in my room.. distracting my family..
it won't happen anymore..

& i choose to believe that one day, i will feel loved again.

hello, sunshine.

and.. i'm back here.
sure feels good to pen down thoughts and happenings sometimes.
although really, nothing is for sure.
who's to know that whatever i write here will never be lost one day?

finally did my crowning for my front tooth that had been giving me problems,
ever since i was a child.
i could never decipher how unlucky i was, or was it really just fated,
that my right tooth was knocked off while playing a bumper car,
and then chipped off during a game of basketball.
one when i was a child, then when i was in secondary school.
cost of that? $1,500.
just did fillings for a cavity for one of my molars too.
gah, the money that's all gone..
at least my teeth are problem-free now..

SIP is over, and school's started again.
folding a staple bullet into a heart shape is really not easy to do.. lol.
at least i got a good appraisal, unexpectedly, 57/60 for it.
gotta work on my report really soon, been procrastinating.
projects are starting to pile up.. while i'm reading up on lectures :S

and i've been exposed to quite a lot of good food recently.

steamboats, restaurants with good scenery, and really good soba.
that's all i can remember, ah, the disadvantages of not blogging down events.

i kinda miss school, and all it's nonsense.
but i know very well by the time it starts,
i'll dread it again.

picture perfect.

we've been having training with our juniors recently,
for an upcoming resort's world performance held for the prime minister, and many other VIPs.
it was quite reminiscent sitting in the coach today.. felt like an excursion.
wanted to anti social away with my iphone,
but couldn't help but join in the game they were playing.
and we'll be staying overnight for free at one of the hotels there!
which will be my first time in a 6 star hotel..

went back to chung cheng a few days back,
during their bazaar, and caught up with a few of my past clique friends..
some things really never change, eh. haha.

many of these places in the school really held memories for me..
while i was walking past them, i actually found myself thinking back,
trying to recall those significant happenings.
i feel so old now!
even when driving into school looking at the current schooling students,
damn, i'm actually DRIVING into school.

these few days have been pretty hectic.
coping with tests and tutorials,
while spending time with my love,
my family, and myself.

we went to OC to watch a jam,
but we explored around much as well.
because we keep getting lost.. haha.
at least we get lost together,
and find our way back together :)

have been feeling tired out recently because of the really really late nights.
but it's been a habit and i'm trying to kick it.
not that i don't want to sleep early but my days just end so late every time,
and i've got no time for myself, to surf around the net,
cook up a little something, catch up with some episodes of anime and stuff.
so i give myself that 'therapy' when i get home at night..
and when i'm done, it's hella late already :(

i've grown a lot over the past few years.
looking at my old pictures.. damn did i grow, literally.
still, i feel that i've grown mentally the most..
understanding so much more about life.. and its little details.

i've not been putting on my contact lenses..
ever since the early days of polytechnic life,
and there's a reason to that.
i guess it serves me well.

my laptop is irritating me with the lag already..
guess its life is dying out with my constant usage.

our 18th month just passed.. many more to come (:

visited my girl once while she was at work.. went to eat breeks -
an american cafe that i used to frequent when i was very young.
loved the beef bolognese there and it still tastes as good (:
glad my eulene de cinderella liked the food as well.
visited her another time during night shift as well..
couldn't stay too long during then though.

BOTY2010 with NGBT was an enjoyable journey (:

managed to use o'schools studio a few times thanks to the instructors there.
we didn't win, but we'll come back harder the next time.
got myself physicx's dvd from the man himself, with his autograph.

it's a pity he kinda changed his style dramatically though ):

have been driving to town during those BOTY days.. isn't as tough as i thought.
in fact, driving is now kinda an easy job already..
recognising roads, finding ways around.

i wonder about the results of my other two papers that i haven't received yet..
once i've got them i'll post them up for remembrance,
since i always do. the first result came as a shock though..
as i didn't have much time to study for it.
these days i've been training hard..
unlike those days where i usually take a few days off for rest,
before hitting the floors again.
it's just a whole different drive, an entirely different perspective.
hoping everything will pay off soon.

also heard that because of the YOG,
we're gonna have a month of 'study week'.
which is too cool.. hahaha.
i'll be performing for YOG anyway!

life on track.

have been driving lately.. not because it's fun,
but because it's starting to become really convenient.
sometimes i don't even feel like driving but i've realised,
that ever since i've been driving i don't spend that much anymore.

sent ling home twice already, all the way to buangkok.

we now have matching phones!

and so i went to tampines mall with her today,
supposedly to support last warning crew but we reached too late.
so we headed on with our plan to watch 'the losers'.

show was funny, with unexpected things happening.
and i like that (:
really liked max, pooch and jensen.
hahaha.
then while we were walking to the car park,
this taiwan wedding dress promoter walked up to ling and i and asked:
"taiwan hun sha, jie hun ma?"
which translates to "taiwan wedding dresses, are you both marrying?"
LOL.. did we look like we were!?
so amusing luh (:

i was quite cheesy today at challenger as well.. hahah.
ling is bathing now and i'm gonna study a little before dota-ing later!

finally, i got it over and done with.

formal day.

had my first EBSK tutorial today,
and i was kinda dreading it because i wasn't briefed about how to dress,
how it's going to be assessed and all but in the end,
it was actually pretty slack.. lol.
watched some videos that made sense about business etiquette,
then had bizpark's food for brunch.

headed home to nap..
because i didn't sleep particularly early the previous night.
then headed off in the evening to meet RB,
Harris and their girlfriends at tampines mall.
had ajisen and it really satisfied my cravings.
scallop ramen; my all time favourite.
gulped it all up before i knew it.

then we headed to watch Ip Man 2:

although i missed out the first 20minutes..
i still thought it was a really good show.
somehow i got a feeling there may be an Ip Man 3.
wouldn't mind watching it again.
next up would be Iron Man 2!

my day didn't turn out to be as well as i thought it would be.. though.
hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

for the past two days i've been going to illuma,
it was my first time going there yesterday.
the arcades there have got just about any game, seemingly.

we also had steamboat (:

the food and all was okay, but the ventilation was just a little screwed up.
so it was actually quite uncomfortable sitting throughout to cook.
going to that area for steamboat really reminded me,
of the time when i fainted for the first time.. haha.
nevertheless i had fun (:

time to level up.
and it will all be possible because when i talk..
i put in actions.

i finally understand,
that yesterday remains a yesterday.
and it will never be the same again.

GEM 5 is over in the blink of an eye..
and so is half of the holidays.
dreading the start of the new semester but,
i'd rather get it over and done with.

many things have been happening since the previous post..
still, i'm glad whatever happened did happen,
because today, i'm happy with the way things are.

first things first.. i failed my TP test.
and as much as i want to blame myself, i can't.
because i feel so wronged everytime i think about it.
how i actually took note and confirmed that i did something,
but the tester penalised me on that particular thing i noted.
being practical i didn't try to argue,
in case i get him as my tester again the next time round.
it's okay.. life teaches us lessons like these.
i'll do better the next time round.. with a hopefully better tester.

GEM 5 is over,
and indeed i didn't feel the emotions i felt during GEM 4 last year.
is it really because i didn't participate as much?
hah, i don't know.
but i'll do more for GEM 6 that's for sure (:
still, it was a short and sweet journey of three weeks that i'll remember:

and of course..

my dearest girl,
who stood by me through the rehearsals even though her SIP had started.
we're turning 15 months old tomorrow~ that's pretty long, isn't it?
i'm thankful.. ♥

CNY 2010 ~ YOTT.

this year's chinese new year felt more normal than usual.
just really felt like it's just visiting.. no expectations, no thrill.

most of my relatives are really rich though.
can't help but be envious at times D:

as usual i had people saying that i looked like a korean and stuff lol.
the visiting ended when the relatives came over to my place.
then i knocked-out..
until my favourite girl came over (:

a simple valentine's day would suffice,

went to school early today for the OTC lesson that's getting pretty dry.
then i met up with harris and had a nice talk over a meal at mensa.
i feel grateful to have my crewmates in my life.

went for communication skills lesson later,
which was supposed to be a full three hour one,
so i grabbed a mentos and green tea for it (:
it was a meeting-based one and actually seems pretty interesting.
well, hong chit is the CEO.

woke up real early for FOI :)

it's amazing how we can feel music

went for FOI tutorial today, actually found it pretty interesting.
it's a pity that i didn't attend two of them.. gah.
it was freezing cold today in the class it was pouring outside,
while it was going on.

headed home on 69/9, met yajun on the ride.
when i reached my stop, it was really raining hardcore already.
so sadly i had to run home.. drenched.

went to change my IC's address then at the neighbourhood police post.
where there was this lady who was in the queue whereby i was after her,
and damn, was she SLOW or what?
after sooooo much explanation on the procedures of HOW to change the address,
and the necessary documents to go along with it,
she had to ask over and over again, the same damn thing.
i felt so ashamed for her.
even dad scolded her stupid.. haha.

finally, i've got some jackhammers going on already..
just got to work on consistency now.
once i feel that i'm ready.. i guess i'll be hitting the circles.

felt really sick today..

maybe i shouldn't have went for dance yesterday night.
waking up with sore throat, realising you're breathing through your mouth..

spent the whole day at home resting..

past few days had been hectic.. so busy with so many things.
wished i had more than 24hours for each day.
there's an endless list of things i want to and have to do.

living here in casa merah somehow..
made my sleeping habits change.
i don't know why but.. i always wake up before 12noon now.
and end up taking late afternoon naps more often than usual.
still, i'm starting to really settle down here already.

many things will be coming up.. and i'm going to be so busy,
i can feel them coming :/
recital, dreams 2, driving lessons,

group projects.. sigh.

taking a break is for a longer journey ahead..
and i think it's time i do that mentally and physically.
i've been so tired out, and the bruises and cuts i've got aren't helping.

many random things happened the past week.
like how i went into the wrong sociology class for the first week,
introduced myself and kinda settled into the class..
just to find out the next week that my real class is actually next door.
so i resettled into the new class and made some friends.. again.
so practically i'm friends with people of both classes, lol.
people in my group are mostly year ones i think..

i've been driving on the roads already,
with the instructor beside me.
his name is patrick.. and he's been really nice to me.

when mayo stayed over that night when i finally just moved in,

to find out that there was no tutorial for OTC medication this week.. great.

all of us were so damned full after that.. but it was a good meal (:

headed home.. and rushed to CDC for my driving lesson.
the instructor, patrick, seemed like a very nice guy (:
i was already kinda tired out by then but i tried my best to stay focused.

first lesson, and i already drove around the circuit a few times..

our first times at orchard central..
on the very day that was 9 months after our official date (:

the express escalators are damn dope la,
they go 3 levels each time.. and they are OUTDOOR.
can't wait for the rooftop to open (:

the shop layouts are very not local,
and each level has it's own theme (:
was kinda impressed.

the lifts are all transparent,
so we could like see into restaurants..
and see other people walking here and there.

yeah the carpark is level 5-10.

i still think the first level is really cool though.

it has an outdoor feel, but it's indoors.
those two rectangle stuff are televisions..
and there are A LOT of chill spots in this mall.
which is really convenient for people like me actually. haha.

just lazing around recuperating from the past few tiresome days.

Hello! This is eulene.
The owner of this blog is busy studying, so here I am doing the updating for him.

Just watched two movies together.

Orphan and Where Got Ghosts.

Don't have to watch the latter, just catch the Orphan as the plot is good. (:

Anyhow, Bboy Leo-J has got bruises on his lower abs and on his right knee.
It is apparent that he doesn't know how to stop getting injuries..
So it would be nice if his fellow homies could help whack him whenever he allows himself to get too clumsy. ^^

Other than studying and sessioning, he did some teaching at cchs just yesterday.
There was a battle and he was the judge. lol.

Some may see our relationship as a mistake..

When I get older,
I want to look back on all the things that I've done.
Only to know that I've done all the wrong things for all the right reasons.

8 years she was with us,
now she's gone.
i refused to accept that very fact..

i said my last goodbye to her at 7am,
when somehow someone just woke her up from her sleep by calling her handphone.

happiness is a journey,
not a destination.

few days ago, i had a war with a cockroach the full size of my thumb. 
yeah.. it was that big.
this cockroach even lifts it's 'head' up, crouching, seemingly 'looking around'.
how creepy is that? 
while i was cooking ramen, it started flying around the kitchen.
given it's size, obviously i would be able to hear the flattering of it's wings. 
and so i took notice of it.. and gathered the intent to kill.
LOL!
 and so i did, sprayed so much insecticide on it, 
that the smell diffused all the way to the entire living room. 
and it still didn't die. 
then it started creeping (probably didn't have anymore energy to flap it's wings)
 to the kitchen's toilet. 
and i killed it instantly in one blow right after:

  i poured all the hot water in my cooking pan
which i was boiling for my ramen onto it. 
PWNED.

went to meet chloe at cineleisure today afternoon (:
i made her decide where to eat at since she turned up late,
and we settled for shokudo.
so we headed to heeren's.. and i had beef omu rice - like the old times.
with some green tea shake which was pretty nice.
will definitely visit there again if i can to check out the other food.. haha.
and wow, how often do i actually get treated a meal?

talking to her made me realise that i've really been IN a mountain,
like everyday's just dance and school.
haven't been to town to shop and stuff for quite some time already.

walked around for abit, then decided to watch 'the hangover'.

didn't get bored at all throughout, was laughing away!

then headed to TCC to meet the rest to break a little after that.

i've been watching way too much anime recently,
and i've been finishing them so fast!
i think, 3 seasons of one, 2 seasons of another, 90plus episodes of yet another.
also i'll finally be buying a new phone..
let's see which catches my eye this time.. haha.
can't wait for my new condominium actually.
can go downstairs to swim everytime the sun's good (:
